पीटीआई, नई दिल्ली। भारत द्वारा आपरेशन 'बुद्ध मुस्कुराये' के तहत किए गए पहले परमाणु परीक्षण के पांच दशक बाद सोमवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने पाकिस्तान को दो टूक शब्दों में यह चेतावनी देने के लिए बुद्ध पूर्णिमा का ही दिन चुना कि इस्लामाबाद के परमाणु ब्लैकमेल को बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।

1974 में पहला परमाणु परीक्षण तब बुद्ध पूर्णिमा थी 

भारत ने 1974 में जब पहला परमाणु परीक्षण किया था उस दिन बुद्ध पूर्णिमा थी। इसी प्रकार 11 मई 1998 को जब दोबारा परमाणु परीक्षण किया गया तो उस दिन भी बुद्ध पूर्णिमा थी। भारत के दूसरे परमाणु परीक्षण का कूट नाम यद्धपि आपरेशन शक्ति था किंतु इसे 'बुद्ध दोबारा मुस्कुराये' नाम से याद किया जाता है।

इंदिरा गांधी को भेजा गया था संदेश

"बुद्ध मुस्कुराये" यह कोड संदेश पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी को तब भेजा गया था जब भारत ने 18 मई 1974 को राजस्थान के पोखरण टेस्ट रेंज में सफलतापूर्वक अपना पहला परमाणु परीक्षण किया था। यह तारीख बुद्ध पूर्णिमा थी। इसलिए, कोडनेम दिया गया।

शांति के साथ शक्ति दिखाना भी जरूरी

आपरेशन सिंदूर शुरू होने के बाद पहली बार राष्ट्र को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने बुद्ध पूर्णिमा का जिक्र किया और कहा कि भगवान बुद्ध ने हमें शांति का रास्ता दिखाया है। शांति का मार्ग भी शक्ति से होकर जाता है। मानवता, शांति और समृद्धि की तरफ बढ़े, हर भारतीय शांति से जी सके, विकसित भारत के सपने को पूरा कर सके, इसके लिए भारत का शक्तिशाली होना बहुत जरूरी है और आवश्यकता पड़ने पर इस शक्ति का इस्तेमाल भी जरूरी है और पिछले कुछ दिनों में भारत ने यही किया है।

आतंकी हमले का मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया जाएगाः मोदी

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि भारत पर आतंकी हमला हुआ तो मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया जाएगा। हम अपने तरीके से, अपनी शर्तों पर जवाब देकर रहेंगे। हर उस जगह जाकर कठोर कार्रवाई करेंगे, जहां से आतंक की जड़ें निकलती हैं। मोदी ने पूरी दृढ़ता और चेतावनी भरे शब्दों में कहा कि हमने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ अभियान को केवल स्थगित किया है तथा भविष्य उनके व्यवहार पर निर्भर करेगा।

Shares of pharmaceutical companies rallied up to 4% on Tuesday as investors expect that US President Donald Trump's executive order will have minimal impact on US generics. Dr Reddy's shares were up around 4% while Granules, Glenmark, Lupin, Divi's Lab, and Aurobindo Pharma were trading around 3% higher.Nifty Pharma index itself rose around 2% even when Nifty fell around 0.5% amid profit-booking post Monday's rally, which saw the benchmark indices making the sharpest single-day gain in the last 4 years."As far as the impact on Indian pharma companies is concerned, we foresee very limited impact. Based on our interaction with companies, the generics pricing spread is thin across developed nations, and hence, the scope of reduction in prices is expected to be limited on the US generics portfolio," brokerage Motilal Oswal said.Trump's order says that the drug prices in the US should be aligned to the prices in other developed countries. Trump intends to take action against pharmaceutical manufacturers charging higher prices to Americans while providing steep discounts to other wealthy nations but analysts say there is uncertainty on how successfully the executive order is eventually implemented.An earlier attempt by the Trump 1 administration in 2020 to implement a similar order for lowering pricing was defeated in various courts"The order is more inclined toward innovator pharma companies, which might be having pricing disparity on medicines sold in the US and other developed nations," Motilal said, adding that it estimates a very limited impact of the executive order on US generics.Nomura, however, warned that If the executive order is implemented, it will have a negative impact on branded and specialty drug sales."In our coverage universe, Sun Pharma has the largest exposure to branded sales in the US. We estimate that US specialty sales are at ~USD1036mn (FY25F) for Sun Pharma. The largest product Ilumya (FY25F US sales of ~USD570mn) is largely supported through Medicare Part B, which possibly accounts for 50%+ of the sales of the company, in our assessment. The listed price of Ilumya in the US is ~4x that in other developed countries, in our view. Therefore, the implementation of lower pricing can have a significant negative impact on revenues and earnings, in our view," Nomura said.As generics are priced at only a modest discount (~30-40%) to the brand prices, the brokerage firm said it is not likely to have a negative impact on typical commoditized generics with more than five players in the market.

डिजिटल डेस्क, नई दिल्ली। भारत-पाकिस्तान सीजफायर के बाद पीएम मोदी ने देश को संबोधित किया। पहलगाम हमले से लेकर सीजफायर से जुड़ी कई जानकारी पीएम मोदी ने देश को दी। ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के बाद पीएम मोदी ने पहली बार देश को संबोधित किया। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सबसे पहले अपने भाषण में सेनाओं की वीरता और पराक्रम को सलाम किया।

पीएम मोदी ने कहा, हमने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के लक्ष्यों को पूरा किया है। भारत के ड्रोन और मिसाइल हमले पाकिस्तान की कल्पना से परे थे। उन्होंने याद दिलाया कि कैसे हैरान और घबराए पाकिस्तान ने हस्तक्षेप की मांग करते हुए दुनिया भर में कई फोन कॉल किए और अंत में डीजीएमओ स्तर की वार्ता शुरू करके युद्ध विराम की मांग की।

ग्लोबल आतंक की यूनिवर्सिटी- पीएम मोदी

प्रधानमंत्री ने आगे अपने संबोधन में बहावलपुर और मुरीदके के आतंकी अड्डों का भी जिक्र किया। उन्होंने बताया, बहावलपुर और मुरीदके जैसे आतंकी ठिकानें एक तरह से ग्लोबल आतंक की यूनिवर्सिटी रहे हैं। दुनिया में कहीं पर भी जो बड़े आतंकी हमले हुए, चाहे 9/11 हो, चाहे लंदन ट्यूब बॉम्बिंग, या फिर भारत में बड़े आतंकी हमले हों, उन सबके तार इन्हीं आतंकी ठिकानों से जुड़े हुए है।

इसलिए भारत ने आतंक के इन हेडक्वार्टर्स को ही तबाह कर दिया। इन हमलों में 100 से ज्यादा खूंखार आतंकियों को मौत के घाट उतार दिया गया है।

'हमने उनके सीने पर हमला किया'

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने आगे कहा,

'पाकिस्तान ने भारत की सीमा पर हमला करने की योजना बनाई थी, लेकिन हमने उनके सीने पर हमला किया।' 9/11 हमला अमेरिका में 11 सितंबर 2001 को हुआ जब अल-कायदा के आतंकियों ने चार विमानों को हाईजैक कर हमला किया। इन सब हमलों के तार पाकिस्तान से जुड़े हुए थे। सारे आतंकी पाकिस्तान के ही थे । अलकायदा चीफ ओसामा बिन लादेन को इसी पाक‍िस्‍तान के ऐबटाबाद में अमेर‍िका ने मार ग‍िराया था।

हाल ही में ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के रूप में, भारत ने एक प्रतिबंधित आतंकवादी के नेतृत्व में एक राजकीय अंतिम संस्कार में भाग लेने वाले पाकिस्तानी सेना के अधिकारियों के फोटोग्राफिक सबूत और वीडियो फुटेज प्रदान किए हैं।

'आतंकवादियों का सफाया, पाक सेना हिल गई'

पीएम मोदी ने कहा, 'भारत द्वारा किए गए इन हमलों में 100 से अधिक खूंखार आतंकवादी मारे गए हैं।' उन्होंने कहा, 'जब भारत की मिसाइलों और ड्रोन ने पाकिस्तान में आतंकवादी ठिकानों को नष्ट किया, तो न केवल इन आतंकवादी संगठनों की इमारतें और सुविधाएं नष्ट हो गईं, बल्कि उनका साहस भी बुरी तरह से हिल गया।'

Defence stocks rallied up to 4% on Tuesday after Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for greater military self-reliance, following India’s launch of Operation Sindoor in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.The shares of Cochin Shipyard rose the highest by 3.7% to their day’s high of Rs 1,577.30 on the BSE, followed by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders shares, which surged by 2.6% to Rs 2,979.90.Meanwhile, the shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) and BEL rallied between 2-2.5%.In his first address to the nation since the operation, PM Modi said India has demonstrated its strength in modern warfare and must now lead in defence innovation through indigenous technology.“We have proven our dominance in new-age warfare,” Modi said. “We have always defeated Pakistan on the battlefield, and today we have demonstrated our superiority in modern warfare. The time has come for ‘Made in India’ defence equipment. We have adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.”Operation Sindoor not only avenged the Pakistan-sponsored terror attack but also served as a rare opportunity for India to showcase its military strength. The four-day 'near-war' featured a diverse mix of Russian, French, Israeli and indigenous hardware. However, what stood out was the successful deployment of India-made weapons and defence systems in a real combat scenario against a peer adversary.This has elevated the global credibility of India's defence industry. With indigenous systems now battle-tested, India may see greater interest from international buyers — potentially turning Operation Sindoor into a powerful promotion for 'Make in India' weaponry.India's push for defence self-reliance has gathered momentum under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Domestic production touched Rs 1.27 lakh crore in FY24, marking a 174% jump from 2014–15, driven largely by policy reforms and strategic initiatives like iDEX, SAMARTHYA, and the SRIJAN programme.Defence exports also surged to a record Rs 23,622 crore (approx. US$2.76 billion) in FY25, a 12% increase over FY24 and a nearly 30-fold rise over the past decade. India now exports military equipment to over 100 countries, with a long-term goal of reaching Rs 50,000 crore in annual exports by 2029.More than 14,000 items have been indigenised, and 3,000 components are now part of the Positive Indigenisation Lists, aimed at reducing dependency on imports.On Dalal Street, domestic defence firms such as ideaForge, Zen Technologies, Bharat Dynamics, Bharat Electronics, and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders are expected to be in focus amid rising investor optimism.The Prime Minister’s address comes amid reports that Pakistan used Chinese fighter jets and Turkish drones during the recent escalation.
