डिजिटल डेस्‍क, नई दिल्‍ली। ड्रोन ने दुनिया भर में युद्ध का तरीका बदल दिया है। हाल ही में पहलगाम में हुए आतंकी हमले के बाद भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच तनाव चरम पर पहुंच गया। भारतीय सेना ने पाकिस्तान में आतंकियों के ठिकाने तबाह किए तो पाकिस्‍तानी सेना ने सैकड़ों की संख्या में ड्रोन भेजकर हमले किए। पाकिस्तान के ड्रोन हमलों को भारतीय एयर डिफेंस सिस्‍टम ने हवा में खत्म कर दिया।

अब सवाल यह है कि ड्रोन शब्द कैसे चलन में आया, ड्रोन किस तरह युद्ध लड़ने के तौर-तरीके बदल रहे हैं, दुनिया में पहली बार ड्रोन का कब इस्तेमाल हुआ और किस काम के लिए हुआ था? आइए हम आपको ड्रोन के बारे में सबकुछ बताते हैं...

• अभी हाल में भारत-पाकिस्तान तनातनी में दोनों देशों ने अपनी-अपनी ताकत दिखाने के लिए ड्रोन का इस्तेमाल किया। इससे पहले इजरायल-गाजा और रूस-यूक्रेन वॉर में भी ड्रोन का जमकर इस्तेमाल किया गया। इससे एक बात साफ हो गई है कि ड्रोन अब सिर्फ तकनीक नहीं हैं, अब ये युद्ध की दिशा बदलने वाला हथियार हैं। 
• जिस भी देश की रक्षा प्रणाली में उन्नत तकनीक के ड्रोन भी शामिल हैं, उस देश की सेना कई गुना ताकतवर हो जाती है।  जैसे पहले विश्व युद्ध में खाइयों की लड़ाई युद्ध रणनीति का हिस्सा थी, वैसे ही 21वीं सदी में ड्रोन युद्ध में प्रमुख हथियार बन चुके हैं। भविष्य के युद्ध की दिशा एआई, स्वार्म टेक्नोलॉजी और ड्रोन से तय होगी। 

भारत ने स्वदेशी ड्रोन कब बनाया?

भारत का पहला स्वदेशी डिजाइन और डिवेलप्ट ड्रोन 'निशांत' था। रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने ड्रोन 'निशांत' का 1995 में इसका परीक्षण किया था। भारतीय सेना की रिमोटली पायलेटेड व्‍हीकल (RPV) की जरूरत को पूरा करने के लिए 'निशांत' को बनाया गया था। 

साल 1999 में कारगिल भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच युद्ध छिड़ गया था। तब पहली बार भारत ने इस ड्रोन का इस्तेमाल किया था। यह ड्रोन दुश्मन के इलाके के जानकारी एकत्रित करने और तोपखाने की आग को ठीक करने के लिए किया गया था। 

इसके बाद भारत ने पंछी, लक्ष्य, रुस्तम, आर्चर, घातक और नेत्र समेत कई और ड्रोन बनाए। हालांकि, अभी भारत मुख्य रूप से इजरायली मूल के हिरोन मार्क-2, हैरोप और स्काई-स्ट्राइकर जैसे ड्रोन का इस्तेमाल करता है।

अभी हाल ही में भारत ने पाकिस्तान स्थित आतंकवादी स्थलों और पाकिस्तानी वायु रक्षा प्रणालियों पर हमला करने के लिए ड्रोन का इस्तेमाल किया। हालांकि, ये स्पष्ट नहीं है कि कौन-सा ड्रोन इस्तेमाल किया।

अब युद्ध में क्यों अहम हैं ड्रोन?

• ड्रोन की किसी भी सीमा पर त्वरित तैनाती की जा सकती है।
• UAV ड्रोन सटीक हमला करने में सक्षम हैं।
• मानव जीवन के लिए कम जोखिम तुलनात्मक रूप से कम लागत।
• रडार और निगरानी प्रणाली से छिपने में सक्षम।

ड्रोन शब्द व कंसेप्ट कब और कैसे आया?

यह बात उस वक्त की है, जब भारत में अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ जंग शुरू भी नहीं थी। 19वीं सदी में इटली छोटे-छोटे राज्‍यों में बंटा था। इन राज्‍यों पर अलग-अलग शक्तियों का नियंत्रण था, जिनमें ऑस्ट्रियन साम्राज्य एक प्रमुख शक्ति थी।

1848-49 के बीच पूरे यूरोप में क्रांति की लहर उठी, जिसे स्प्रिंगटाइम ऑफ नेशंस (Springtime of Nations) कहा जाता है। लोगों ने अपनी आजादी के लिए लड़ना शुरू कर दिया। इटली आजादी और एकीकरण (Unification) के लिए आंदोलन चल रहा था।

1849 में वेनिस ने भी ऑस्ट्रिया के खिलाफ विद्रोह कर दिया। वेनिस के लोगों ने ऑस्ट्रिया से आजाद होने का प्रयास किया और एक अस्थाई सरकार बना ली। ऑस्ट्रिया ने सैन्‍य कार्रवाई कर आंदोलन को कुचलने का प्रयास किया। जब वेनिस के आंदोलनकारियों ने हार नहीं मानी तो ऑस्ट्रियाई सेना ने वेनिस पर बैलून बम गिराए थे, जिसे दुनिया का पहला हवाई हमला माना जाता है।

20वीं सदी में ड्रोन तकनीक विकसित हो गई। आज से करीब 108 साल पहले, प्रथम विश्व युद्ध (साल 1917) के दौरान ब्रिटेन ने रेडियो कंट्रोल्‍ड एरियल टारगेट (Aerial Target) का टेस्ट किया। ब्रिटेन के टेस्ट के एक साल बाद 1918 में अमेरिका रेडियो कंट्रोल व्हीकल का परीक्षण किया। उसे केटरिंग बग (Kettering ‘Bug’) करार दिया गया। उस वक्त यह मानव रहित अनमैन्ड व्हीकल (UAV) का पहला उदाहरण था।

ड्रोन का पहली बार प्रयोग किस युद्ध में हुआ था?

दूसरे विश्व युद्ध से पहले ब्रिटेन ने रिमोट से चलने वाली डीएच82बी क्‍वीन बी (Queen Bee) ड्रोन बनाया गया। ‘ड्रोन’ शब्द की उत्पत्ति इसी नाम से हुई है। यह किसी भी लक्ष्‍य की जानकारी लेने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाने लगा था।

'क्वीन बी' को दुनिया का सबसे पहला आधुनिक ड्रोन माना गया था। 'क्‍वीन बी' का उपयोग ब्रिटेन के रॉयल एयर फोर्सेस में किया गया था। इस ड्रोन की सफलता के बाद ही अमेरिका ने अपना ड्रोन प्रोग्राम शुरू किया था। 

अमेरिकी ड्रोन पहली बार युद्ध में कब उड़ाए गए? 

अमेरिका ने ब्रिटेन में ड्रोन के सफल होने के बाद अपने यहां ड्रोन बनाने शुरू कर दिए। अमेरिका ने वियतनाम वॉर के दौरान पहली बार छोटे रिमोट कंट्रोल ड्रोन  'रयान एक्यूएम 91'  (Ryan AQM-91) का इस्तेमाल किया था। अमेरिकी आर्मी ने इसका इस्तेमाल बड़े पैमाने पर उत्तरी वियतनाम में दुश्मन की जासूसी करने के लिए किया था। 'रयान एक्यूएम 91' दो कैमरों से लैस था।

क्‍या प्रीडेटर ड्रोन गेम चेंजर साबित हुआ?

कोल्‍ड वॉर के दौरान जासूसी के लिए ड्रोन का जमकर इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। हालांकि 90 के दशक में पहुंचने तक अमेरिका ने प्रीडेटर ड्रोन यानी एक तरह से मानव रहित हवाई विमान  (UAV) विकसित कर लिया, जोकि मिसाइल लैस था। उसके बाद इस ड्रोन का इस्तेमाल बाल्कन युद्ध में किया गया था। 

इस दिशा में सबसे बड़ा बदलाव साल 2000 में आया, जब अमेरिका ने प्रीडेटर ड्रोन को हेलफायर मिसाइल (Hellfire Missile) से लैस कर दिया। इसके बाद से यह ड्रोन दुश्मन के इलाके में सटीक हमला करने में सक्षम हो गया।

9/11 के बाद अमेरिका ने आतंकवाद के खिलाफ अभियान में हेलफायर मिसाइल  प्रीडेटर ड्रोन का बड़े लेवल पर इस्तेमाल किया। यह ड्रोन 24 घंटे उड़ान भरने में सक्षम था। एक समय तक ड्रोन तकनीक और ड्रोन इंडस्ट्री  (Drone industry) पर अमेरिका, ब्रिटेन और इजरायल का कब्जा था। साल 2015 के बाद ड्रोन तकनीक वैश्विक हो गई।
