जागरण संवाददाता, पटना। खेलो इंडिया यूथ गेम्स में बुधवार को मेजबान बिहार का दिन शानदार रहा। बिहार ने कुल आठ पदक जीते। बुधवार के दिन बिहार की प्रिया प्रेरणा और माहिका कुमारी ने थां-गटा में दो स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर दिन की शुरुआत की।

वहीं, बिहार की खुशी यादव ने दो हजार मीटर स्टीपलचेज में स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर प्रदेश का मान बढ़ाया। उज्ज्वल सिंह ने 241 किलोग्राम वजन उठाकर वेटलिफ्टिंग में कांस्य पदक जीता और बिहार का खाता खोला।

उज्जवल जहानाबाद के रहने वाले हैं। माहिका भागलपुर की रहने वाली है। माहिका ने थां-गटा में (56 किलो पहुनावा अनिशुबा) और सुपौल की प्रिया प्रेरणा ने (52 किलो में पहुनाबा एएमए) में स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया।

अररिया के लक्की 60 किलो वर्ग में (पहुनाबा अनुशुबा) में कांस्य पदक, जबकि भागलपुर की सुभाक्षी ने थां-गटा के (52 किलो वर्ग पहुनाबा अनुशुबा) में कांस्य पदक अपने नाम किया। इस तरह थां-गटा प्रतियोगिता में बिहार ने कुल पांच पदक अपने नाम किया। इसमें दो स्वर्ण और तीन कांस्य पदक शामिल हैं।

वहीं, बाक्सिंग प्रतियोगिता के अंतिम दिन बिहार के प्रियांशु और शिवम कुमार ने कांस्य पदक जीतकर बाक्सिंग में बिहार का खाता खोला। इस तरह बुधवार को कुल तीन स्वर्ण पदक और छह कांस्य पदक बिहार ने अपने नाम किया।
