एएनआई, तमिलनाडु। तमिलनाडु के मदुरै जिले से एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे की खबर सामने आई है। जिले के उसिलामपट्टी के पास कुंजमपट्टी में सड़क पार करने के दौरान कुछ लोगों को एक कार ने जोरदार टक्कर मार दी।

मदुरै एसपी अरविंद ने बताया कि कुंजमपट्टी में एक ही परिवार के सात लोग सड़क पार कर रहे थे, तभी अचानक आई तेज रफ्तार कार ने सभी को टक्कर मार दी। इस हादसे में चार लोगों की मौत हो गई। वहीं, तीन अन्य लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए।

जागरण संवाददाता, पटना। मेट्रो में सफर के इंतजार की घड़ियां समाप्त होनेवाली हैं। अभी तक की योजना के मुताबिक 15 अगस्त को राजधानी में इस सेवा की शुरुआत की जाएगी।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इसका लोकार्पण कर सकते हैं। दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कारपोरेशन पटना मेट्रो को अगस्त तक चालू कराने के लिए तेजी से कार्य पूरा करवा रहा है।

बीते दिनों मुख्य सचिव अमृत लाल मीणा ने भी ऐसी ही बात कही थी। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तर-दक्षिण कारिडोर के मलाही पकड़ी और आइएसबीटी खंड पर 15 अगस्त तक मेट्रो चलाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है।

पटना मेट्रो सेवा की शुरुआत के दौरान मेट्रो के तीन रेक होंगे, इसमें करीब डेढ़ सौ यात्रियों के बैठने की क्षमता होगी। अधिकतम छह कोच के साथ इसका परिचालन होगा।

सभी कोच वातानुकूलित, सीसी कैमरे, वाइफाइ कनेक्शन, मोबाइल चार्जिंग साकेट से युक्त होंगे। मेट्रो स्टेशनों पर कैफेटेरिया एवं शापिंग एरिया भी होगा।

मलाही पकड़ी से आइएसबीटी का 14.45 किमी लंबा ट्रैक उत्तर-दक्षिण कारिडोर का हिस्सा है। शुरुआत में 6.63 किमी एलिवेटेड हिस्से में मेट्रो चलेगी।

इसमें मलाही पकड़ी व आइएसबीटी के अलावा खेमनीचक, भूतनाथ, जीरोमाइल स्टेशन होंगे। बाद के दिनों मे मलाही पकड़ी से पटना यूनिवर्सिटी की ओर दो और स्टेशन जुड़ेंगे। वर्ष 2019 में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इसकी आधारशिला रखी थी।

पटना मेट्रो का एक कॉरिडोर 17.93 किमी लंबा है, जो दानापुर से नेहरू पथ होते हुए खेमनीचक के बीच है। वहीं दूसरा कॉरिडोर मलाही पकड़ी से आइएसबीटी का है।

यह राजेंद्रनगर, पीयू, गांधी मैदान व आकाशवाणी होते हुए पटना जंक्शन तक फैला हुआ है। कॉरिडोर एक में 14 स्टेशन सगुना मोड़, आरपीएस मोड़, पाटलिपुत्र, रुकनपुरा, चिड़ियाघर, विकास भवन आदि होंगे।
