एएनआई, नई दिल्ली। भाजपा तीन राज्यों के आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों को लेकर चुनावी मोड में आ चुकी है। पार्टी के चाणक्य और केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह इसी के चलते बिहार, बंगाल और तमिलनाडु का चुनाव हो जाने तक हर महीने दो-दो दिन का दौरा कर पार्टी की चुनाव तैयारियों को बूस्टर डोज देंगे।

पार्टी सूत्रों के अनुसार भाजपा इन तीन बड़े राज्यों बिहार, बंगाल और तमिलनाडु में अपनी जीत सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अपनी पूरी ताकत जोंकने को संकल्पबद्ध है। इसीलिए शाह शुक्रवार को संसद सत्र का अवसान होते ही तत्काल चुनाव मिशन पर निकलने को तत्पर हैं। अप्रैल माह से ही वह इन तीनों राज्यों में हर महीने अपना दौरा करेंगे।

30 अप्रैल को बिहार जाएंगे अमित शाह

शाह 30 अप्रैल को बिहार जाएंगे और वहां एक मई तक राज्य के नेताओं के साथ भाजपा की चुनाव तैयारियों की समीक्षा करेंगे। इसी तरह वह बंगाल में भी 14-15 अप्रैल को अपने चुनावी दौरों की शुरुआत करेंगे, जो हर महीने वहां चुनाव हो जाने तक जारी रहेगी। अमित शाह तमिलनाडु में अपना पहला चुनावी दौरा 10 और 11 अप्रैल को करेंगे।

इस यात्रा के दौरान वह चेन्नई में पार्टी नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ कई बैठकें करेंगे। ताकि वहां पर भाजपा की चुनावी तैयारियों का सही मूल्यांकन किया जा सके। वह तमिलनाडु में अन्नाद्रमुक से गठजोड़ पर भी चर्चाओं को आगे बढ़ाएंगे। वह चेन्नई में भाजपा नेताओं के साथ ही राजग के घटक दलों से भी मुलाकात करेंगे। उल्लेखनीय है कि बिहार में इसी साल नवंबर तक विधानसभा चुनाव होने की उम्मीद है जबकि बाकी दो राज्यों बंगाल व तमिलनाडु में अगले साल चुनाव होने की उम्मीद है।

पीटीआई, इंफाल। मणिपुर में भाजपा अल्पसंख्यक मोर्चा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष असकर अली के घर में रविवार रात भीड़ ने आग लगा दी। असकर ने वक्फ संशोधन अधिनियम का समर्थन किया था।

यह घटना थौबल जिले में हुई। अली ने शनिवार को इंटरनेट मीडिया पर इस कानून का समर्थन किया था। बताया जा रहा है कि इसी से नाराज होकर भीड़ ने उनके घर में आग लगाई।

घर में लगा दी आग, रैली में शामिल पांच हजार लोग

अधिकारियों ने बताया कि रात करीब नौ बजे गुस्साई भीड़ उनके आवास के बाहर जुटी। भीड़ ने तोड़फोड़ के बाद में घर में आग लगा दी। घटना के बाद अली ने इंटरनेट मीडिया पर वीडियो पोस्ट किया, जिसमें उन्होंने अपने पिछले बयान के लिए माफी मांगी। इससे पहले दिन में इंफाल घाटी के विभिन्न हिस्सों में इस कानून के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन हुए। रैली में पांच हजार लोग शामिल हुए। प्रदर्शन के कारण लिलोंग में एनएच 102 पर यातायात बाधित हो गया। कुछ जगहों पर प्रदर्शनकारियों की सुरक्षा बलों के साथ झड़प भी हुई।

घाटी के मुस्लिम बहुल इलाकों में सुरक्षा बढ़ी

ऐसी ही एक घटना थौबल के इरोंग चेसाबा में हुई। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने केंद्र की भाजपा नीत सरकार के खिलाफ नारे लगाए और इस कानून की निंदा की। घाटी के मुस्लिम बहुल इलाकों में सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है और अतिरिक्त बल तैनात किए गए हैं। संसद से पारित वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक को राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्म ने मंजूरी दे दी है।

Oil prices have a "very low" probability of falling below $60 per barrel and Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) "should not face any economic difficulties" as long as prices stay above that level, its finance chief has said."(Trump's tariff) and the impact that it has had on the markets have adversely affected the oil markets. Oil prices have gone down. That doesn't help ONGC very much," ONGC director-finance Vivek Chandrakant Tongaonkar told ET.Brent, the international crude benchmark, has fallen to $65 per barrel, losing about $10 between April 2 and 4, reflecting the increased fears of a slowdown in the global economy and oil demand following the launch of a massive trade war by US President Donald Trump. Falling oil prices have hammered the stocks of ONGC, Oil India and other producers around the globe. "If the prices remain low, then we have already considered that we would be focusing on cost control," Tongaonkar said.Anything above $70 per barrel "is good for us", said Tongaonkar. "As of now, we don't envisage that we would have too much of a problem even if prices go down to $60. We will not make huge profits, but we will be OK with that. We should not face any economic difficulties." Low prices will not help boost global production, he said. "Very low crude prices are not very conducive for even American producers. Even the Middle Eastern producers would not really be very comfortable with that $60 price or anything below that." Trump wants US production to rise to fulfil his ambition of American dominance in the global energy market and ensure lower energy costs for US citizens.ONGC realised a crude price of $78 per barrel during the nine months that ended in December 2024. The realisation narrowed to $72.5 in the October-December quarter. The company's profits will be impacted in the current quarter if prices stay below $70. High domestic gas prices may, however, act as a cushion for ONGC. Domestic gas price, however, too can decline with the fall in oil prices. The gas price is determined every month as 10% of the crude price, and if crude falls below $67.5 per barrel, the domestic gas price will start slipping from the current level of $6.75 per mmbtu.Gas contributes 20-25% to ONGC's profit before tax now, compared to four years earlier when the gas production business brought in losses. ONGC realised a gas price of $6.5 per mmbtu in 2024 for price-regulated fields, compared to $1.79 three years earlier. The domestic gas price has increased to $6.75 from April.With a new pricing policy for new well gas in place, and some new fields put into production off the eastern coast, ONGC now has an expanding volume of gas that's sold above the government-regulated rate of $6.75, boosting overall gas price realisation. Domestic gas price moves between the floor of $4 and a ceiling of $6.75 per mmbtu, and is currently at the ceiling.
