Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have continued their buying spree in Indian equities, with purchases amounting to Rs 23,778 crore through May 16, 2025. This comes after a notable shift in FII strategy in April, where they reversed their selling stance and recorded net purchases of Rs 4,243 crore.The data was highlighted by Dr. VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Investments Limited, who observed a marked change in FII behavior during the second quarter of 2025.Dr. VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Investments, pointed out that “FIIs who were sellers in the first three months of 2025, having sold equity for Rs 116,574 crores during this period, turned buyers in April with buy figure of Rs 4,243 crores.”The buying momentum, according to him, has accelerated further in May, driven by easing geopolitical tensions and stabilizing macroeconomic conditions.“This change in FII strategy from selling to buying accelerated in May with big buying of 23,778 crores through 16th May,” he added.The recent inflows come amid improving trade relations globally, particularly following the pause in the US-China trade conflict and the resolution of the India-Pakistan border tensions.“With the global trade scenario improving after the pause in trade war between the US and China and the end of the India-Pak conflict, the investment scenario has improved,” Vijayakumar noted.Despite challenges in major economies like the US, China, Japan, and the EU, India’s growth prospects remain robust, with the country expected to clock a growth rate of above 6% in FY26.Also read: F&O Talk| Nifty eyes further gains after crossing 25k mark: Is 25,600 the next target? डिजिटल डेस्क, नई दिल्ली। कर्नल सोफिया कुरैशी पर विवादित टिप्पणी करने वाले भाजपा के मंत्री विजय शाह के खिलाफ हाईकोर्ट के आदेश के बाद एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली गई है। वहीं अब इस विवाद पर ऑल इंडिया मजलिस-ए-इत्तेहादुल मुस्लिमीन के प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने भी टिप्पणी की है।

ओवैसी ने विजय शाह के बयान को गंदगी बताया और कहा कि उन्हें कैबिनेट से निकाल देना चाहिए। ओवैसी ने कहा कि उन्हें जेल भेज कर भाजपा को मिसाल पेश करनी चाहिए। न्यूज एजेंसी पीटीआई को दिए एक इंटरव्यू में ओवैसी ने ये बातें कहीं।

ओवैसी ने जमकर साधा निशाना

ओवैसी ने कहा, 'वो एक प्रदेश के मिनिस्टर हैं और ऐसी बातें कह रहे हैं। कर्नल सोफिया हमारे देश की बेटी है। उसमें भी आपने मजहब देख लिया। उनका बयान एक समुदाय के प्रति उनकी घृणा को दर्शाता है। उनको ये समझाने की जरूरत है कि आप घृणा कीजिए, लेकिन पाकिस्तान से आए आतंक से कीजिए।'

उन्होंने कहा कि 'भाजपा सरकार उन्हें कैबिनेट से निकाले। हाईकोर्ट के कहने पर केस दर्ज हो गया है। उन्हें अरेस्ट कर जेल में भेजा जाए। एक बेहतरीन मिसाल बने देश में कि आप इस तरह की बकवास नहीं कर सकते। एक बहादुर ऑफिसर के बारे में आप इस तरह की गंदगी और हेटफुल कमेंट नहीं कर सकते।'

ओवैसी ने कहा कि 'गंदगी है वह। आपकी नफरत है। आपको ये भी लिहाज नहीं रहा कि आप मंत्री हैं। मुझे पता चला है कि उन्होंने पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री की पत्नी के लिए भी अनाप-शनाप कहा था। क्यों नहीं रोक रही भाजपा उन्हें। उन्हें नहीं निकाल रहे क्योंकि वो एक जाति से आते हैं। वहां भी आपको राजनीति देखनी है।'

पीटीआई, नई दिल्ली। AIMIM चीफ असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने एक बार फिर से पाकिस्तान को आड़ों हाथे लिया है और आतंकवाद के मुद्दे पर खरी-खरी सुनाई है। उन्होंने कहा कि आतंकवाद को प्रायोजित करने के लंबे इतिहास के साथ पाकिस्तान मानवता के लिए खतरा बन गया है।

ओवैसी उठाएंगे ये मुद्दा

ओवैसी ने कहा कि सरकार द्वारा विश्व के अलग-अलग देशो में भेजे जा रहे सर्वदलीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल के सदस्य के रूप में अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय को दिए जाने वाले उनके संदेश का मूल पाकिस्तान समर्थित आतंकवाद ही होगा।

हैदराबाद सांसद ने कहा कि दुनिया को पाकिस्तान प्रायोजित आतंकवादियों द्वारा निर्देष नागरिकों की हत्या करने के बारे में बताया होगा। उन्होंने कहा, "भारत पाकिस्तान प्रायोजित आतंकवाद का एक बड़ा शिकार रहा है। हम सभी ने जिया-उल-हक के समय से निर्दोष लोगों के कत्लेआम और तमाशा देखा है।"

'भारत में हैं 20 करोड़ मुसलमान'

हालांकि, ओवैसी ने बताया कि सरकार की तरफ से उन्हें कूटनीतिक अभियान के बारे में अधिक जानकारी नहीं दी गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के साथ टकराव में खुद को इस्लामिक देश के रूप में पेश करने के लिए पाकिस्तान को आड़े हाथों लेना जरूरी है। यह बकवास है, क्योंकि भारत में करीब 20 करोड़ मुसलमान रहते हैं। दुनिया को यह भी बताना जरूरी है।

पाकिस्तान पर निशाना साधते हुए उन्होने कहा कि भारत को अस्थिर करना, सांप्रदायिक विभाजन को बढ़ावा देना और देश के आर्थिक विकास को रोकना पाकिस्तान की अलिखित विचारधारा का हिस्सा है।

'हमें 1947 में ही समझ जाना चाहिए था'

ओवैसी ने कहा कि भारत को पाकिस्तान की इस साजिश को काफी पहले समझ जाना चाहिए था, जब उसने 1947 में आजादी के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर में कबायली हमलावरों को भेजा था।

पीटीआई, नई दिल्ली। भारत सरकार पाकिस्तान को विश्व स्तर पर आतंकवाद के मामले में बेनकाब करने को लेकर सांसदों का एक डेलिगेशन अलग-अलग देश भेजने वाली है। इसे लेकर सात सांसदों के नाम तय किए गए हैं, जो अपने-अपने दल का नेतृत्व करेंगे।

इस लिस्ट में कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर का भी नाम शामिल है जो अमेरिका जाएंगे और भारत का पक्ष रखेंगे। हालांकि, कांग्रेस ने इस पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है और कहा है कि जो लिस्ट उनके द्वारा सरकार को दी गई थी, उसमें शशि थरूर का नाम नहीं था फिर भी उन्हें शामिल किया गया है।

हिमंता की राहुल से मांग

अब कांग्रेस की लिस्ट को लेकर असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने राहुल गांधी से एक मांग की है। दरअसल, कांग्रेस की लिस्ट में सांसद गौरव गोगोई का नाम भी शामिल है। इसी को लेकर हिमंत ने कांग्रेस पर निशाना साधा है।

असम के मुख्यमंत्री ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी से आग्रह करते हुए कहा है कि पाकिस्तान से आतंकवाद पर भारत का रुख स्पष्ट करने के लिए विदेश भेजे जाने वाले प्रतिनिधिमंडल के लिए कांग्रेस द्वारा नामित चार सांसदों की सूची से असम के सांसद का नाम हटा दिया जाए।

गौरव गोगोई का नाम लिए बिना साधा निशाना

गौरव गोगोई का नाम लिए बिना हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने कहा कि उन्हें 'राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा हित में' सर्वदलीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल में शामिल नहीं किया जाना चाहिए।

सरमा ने गोगोई की ब्रिटिश पत्नी एलिजाबेथ कोलबर्न के माध्यम से कथित पाकिस्तान संबंधों को लेकर आरोप लगाया है और दावा किया है कि जोरहाट के सांसद ने अधिकारियों को बिना सूचित किए पड़ोसी देश में 15 दिनों तक रहे। हालांकि, कांग्रेस ने आरोपों को खारिज कर दिया था।

सरमा ने एक्स पर पोस्ट कर आरोप लगाया, "काग्रेस की सूची में नामित सांसदों में से एक (असम से) ने पाकिस्तान में अपने लंबे समय तक रहने से इनकार नहीं किया है। कथित तौर पर दो सप्ताह के लिए और विश्वसनीय दस्तावेजों से पता चलता है कि उनकी पत्नी भारत में काम करते हुए पाकिस्तान स्थित एक एनजीओ से वेतन ले रही थी।"

कांग्रेस की लिस्ट में कौन-कौन हैं शामिल?

उन्होंने कहा, "राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के हित में और दलगत राजनीति से परे, मैं विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी से आग्रह करता हूं कि इस व्यक्ति को ऐसे संवेदनशील और रणनीतिक कार्य में शामिल न करें।"

दरअसल, हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने यह टिप्पणी कांग्रेस नेता जयराम रमेश द्वार सोशल मीडिया पर की गई पोस्ट का जवाब थी।

कांग्रेस नेता ने कहा था कि पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री आनंद शर्मा, लोकसभा में पार्टी उपनेता गौरव गोगोई, राज्यसभा सांसद सैयद नसीर हुसैन और लोकसभा सांसद राज बरार को पाकिस्तान से आतंकवाद पर भारत का रुख समझाने के लिए विदेश भेजे जाने वाले सर्वदलीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल में नामित किया गया है।

The easing of tariff concerns and geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan, ending strongly in India’s favor without much escalation, strongly impacted the markets in a positive way. Nifty registering its biggest single-day gains in recent history. The markets maintained those gains and built on them further during the week. While the Nifty moved in a 737-point range, the volatility dipped sharply. The India Vix came off by 23.49% to 16.55 on a weekly basis. The headline Index, too, ended the week with a robust weekly gain of 1011.80 points (+4.21%). 121232402After taking a breather in the week before this one, the Nifty resumed its uptrend. From a technical standpoint, the Nifty has dragged its support levels higher to the 50-week MA placed at 24033. From the lows formed on April 7, when the Nifty reacted with a gap-down to the tariff concerns, it has rebounded over 3200 points in the last six weeks.The markets would keep their underlying trend intact even if any correctiveretracement happens, so long as they keep their head above the 24000 level. The markets are at a juncture where they show no signs of giving up; they are also seeing strong sector rotation that may result in a change of leadership over the coming weeks.The present technical setup calls for effective sector rotation and vigilant guarding of gains on the existing investments.The levels of 25175 and 25350 are likely to act as resistance over the coming week. The support comes in at 24800 and 24630 levels. The trading range is likely to stay wider than usual.The weekly RSI stands at 61.90; it has marked a new 14-period high, which is bullish.The RSI stays neutral and does not show any divergence against the price. The weekly MACD stays bullish and above its signal line.The pattern analysis of the weekly chart shows that the price has closed above the upper Bollinger band. While we may see a temporary pullback of the price inside the band, it has raised the possibility of a sustainable trend staying intact. The recent upmove has also dragged the support levels higher for the Nifty at 24000. The Nifty has also penetrated and closed above the rising trendline resistance, eventually dragging the short-term support level higher to 24700.Overall, the markets are in a firm uptrend; however, it is also witnessing sector rotation that may cause different sectors to assume leadership going forward. This is likely to see the sectors like FMCG, Auto, Pharma, etc., that had underperformed in the recent uptrend see improvement in their relative performance. This makes it essential to vigilantly protect gains on existing investments at current levels.
