राज्य ब्यूरो, पटना। बिहार प्रशासनिक सेवा के 19 वरीय अधिकारियों को नयी जिम्मेवारी दी गयी है। सामान्य प्रशासन विभाग ने गुरुवार काे इस आशय की अधिसूचना जारी की। इस क्रम में राज्य के 17 अनुमंडलों में नए एसडीओ की तैनाती की गयी है।

सोमेश नगर आयुक्त बेगूसराय नगर नगर निगम

बेगूसराय के उप विकास आयुक्त सोमेश बहादुर माथुर को नगर आयुक्त बेगूसराय नगर नगर निगम बनाया गया है। पदस्थापना की प्रतीक्षा में चल रहे डा. प्रदीप कुमार पूर्वी चंपारण के उप विकास आयुक्त बनाए गए हैं।

आशीष नारायण बने राजगीर के एसडीओ

विश्वविद्यालय सेवा आयोग के सचिव आशीष नारायण को राजगीर का एसडीओ बनाया गया है। नालंदा में वरीय उप समाहर्ता के रूप में तैनात कृष्ण कुमार को पीरो के एसडीओ की जिम्मेवारी दी गयी है। महराजगंज केएसडीओ अनिल कुमार बेगूसराय सदर के एसडीओ बनाए गए हैं।

आशुतोष गुप्ता को एसडीओ सिवान सदर की जिम्मेवारी 

वरीय उप समाहर्ता पश्चिम चंपारण निधि राज को एसडीओ, मढ़ौरा बनाया गया है। बक्सर में नगर कार्यपालक अधिकारी के रूप में तैनात आशुतोष गुप्ता को एसडीओ सिवान सदर की जिम्मेवारी दी गयी है। भूमि सुधार उप समाहर्ता, बांका, वंदना सिन्हा को एसडीओ बेलसंड के रूप में पदस्थापित किया गया है।

अमित अनराद नवादा के एसडीओ का जिम्मा

वरीय उप समाहर्ता, सिवान आनंद कुमार सीतामढ़ी सदर के एसडीओ बनाए गए हैं। खगड़िया के अनुमंडलाधिकारी अमित अनराद नवादा के एसडीओ का जिम्मा दिया गया है। जहानाबाद के जिला भू अर्जन पदाधिकारी शशांक राज को अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी, बिरौैल, अनुमंडल लोक शिकायत निवारण पदाधिकारी, जहानाबाद, अनिता सिन्हा को एसडीओ महराजगंज बनाया गया है। 

अनुमंडलीय लोक शिकायत निवारण पदाधिकारी, बखरी, दीपक कुमार को एसडीओ जयनगर, अनुमंडलीय लोक शिकायत निवारण पदाधिकारी, जगदीशपुर, प्रवीण कुंदन को एसडीओ, टेकारी, भूमि सुधार उप समाहर्ता, रोसड़ा, अमित कुमार को एसडीओ भभुआ सदर बनाया गया है।

नितेश एसडीओ छपरा सदर बनाया गया 

भूमि सुधार उप समाहर्ता, मंझौल, अमित राजन को एसडीओ दाउदनगर, अनुमंडलीय लोक शिकायत निवारण पदाधिकारी, महनार, स्निग्धा नेहा को एसडीओ, सोनपुर, वरीय उप समाहर्ता, कटिहार, रवि प्रकाश को एसडीओ अररिया सदर तथा वरीय उप समाहर्ता, पटना नितेश कुमार को एसडीओ छपरा सदर बनाया गया है।

आशीष पटना नगर निगम के अपर नगर आयुक्त

सोनपुर के अनुमंडलाधिकारी व भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा के अधिकारी अशीष कुमार को पटना नगर निगम का अपर नगर आयुक्त के रूप में पदस्थापित किया गया है।

जागरण संवाददाता, पटना। इंग्लैंड दौरे के लिए भारतीय अंडर 19 क्रिकेट टीम में प्रदेश के युवा बल्लेबाज वैभव सूर्यवंशी का चयन होने पर बिहार क्रिकेट संघ (बीसीए) के अध्यक्ष राकेश तिवारी ने हर्ष व्यक्त करते हुए कहा है कि यह पूरे बिहार के लिए अत्यंत गर्व का क्षण है। वैभव गुरुवार को पटना एयरपोर्ट से बेंगलुरु के लिए रवाना हो गए।

बेंगलुरु में कैंप के बाद वे इंग्लैंड के लिए रवाना होंगे। इंग्लैंड में 24 जून से 23 जुलाई तक मैच होगा। इसमें एक 50 ओवर का वार्म अप मैच, पांच एकदिवसीय और दो मल्टी डे मैच होना है। भारतीय अंडर 19 टीम का चयन गुरुवार को जूनियर क्रिकेट कमेटी द्वारा किया गया।

बिहार के 14 वर्षीय सूर्यवंशी ने हाल के दिनें में इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) में राजस्थान रॉयल्स की ओर से खेलते हुए सात मैचों में 206.56 की स्ट्राइक रेट से 252 रन बनाकर पूरे देश का ध्यान आकर्षित किया।बीसीए अध्यक्ष राकेश तिवारी ने कहा कि बिहार क्रिकेट संघ को उनकी इस उपलब्धि पर गहरी प्रसन्नता और गर्व है।

बीसीए उनके क्रिकेटीय सफर में निरंतर सहयोग करता रहेगा। वैभव की मेहनत और समर्पण प्रशंसनीय है, और हमें पूरा विश्वास है कि वे आने वाले वर्षों में भारतीय क्रिकेट को नई ऊँचाइयों तक पहुंचाएंगे। अभी उनका सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन आना बाकी है। 2024 में वैभव आईपीएल के इतिहास में सबसे कम उम्र में खरीदे गए खिलाड़ी बने थे।

जब राजस्थान रॉयल्स ने उन्हें 1.1 करोड़ में अनुबंधित किया। उसी वर्ष उन्होंने विजय हज़ारे ट्राफी 2024-25 में बिहार के लिए पदार्पण करते हुए बड़ौदा के खिलाफ 42 गेंदों में 71 रन बनाए और लिस्ट-ए क्रिकेट में अर्धशतक लगाने वाले सबसे युवा भारतीय खिलाड़ी बन गए। अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भी उनका प्रभाव उल्लेखनीय रहा है।

चेन्नई में ऑस्ट्रेलिया अंडर-19 के विरुद्ध एक युवा टेस्ट मैच में उन्होंने मात्र 58 गेंदों में शतक लगाकर भारत की ओर से सबसे तेज़ अंडर-19 टेस्ट सेंचुरी का रिकार्ड अपने नाम किया। इसके अतिरिक्त, एसीसी अंडर-19 एशिया कप में भारत की फाइनल तक की यात्रा में भी वैभव की दो प्रभावी अर्धशतकीय पारियों ने अहम भूमिका निभाई।

Ola and Rapido are under investigation by the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) to check if they are forcing or nudging users to pay advance tips in exchange for quicker service. The probe follows a notice issued to Uber just a day earlier over the same practice."CCPA is investigating other apps like Olacab and Rapido, they will also be served notice if they are found indulging in such practices," said Consumer Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said in a social media post."The practice of 'Advance Tip' is deeply concerning," he said."Forcing or nudging users to pay a tip in advance, for faster service, is unethical and exploitative. The app prompts users to add a tip of Rs 50, Rs 75, or Rs 100 during the booking process, stating, "Add a tip for faster pickup. A driver may be more likely to accept this ride if you add a tip."Online backlashThe tip move has also created a controversy on social media. One user wrote, "This whole ‘advance tip’ scam started with Bengaluru autos and was pushed by Namma Yatri. Now it’s spread like a virus — even Uber and Rapido have picked it up."Replying to the minister's post, another user wrote, "Not just that, now Uber has stopped showing fare. It asks us to "continue without seeing fare". Fare shows only after driver is matched. How can this be allowed?"Users also pointed out that this "unethical" practice was spreading to other apps like Ola Cabs and food delivery companies Swiggy and Zomato.

A day after IndusInd Bank revealed that it is suspecting fraud in accounting irregularities and flagged involvement of senior employees, Ashok Hinduja, Chairman of IndusInd International, has come out in strong support of the current leadership and the board.In a statement following the bank’s Q4 FY25 results, Hinduja said he has “unequivocal trust” in the bank’s board and praised their swift action in addressing the discrepancies. “This will lead to higher standards of transparency and governance, rebuilding trust in the Bank,” he said.On May 21, IndusInd Bank disclosed multiple accounting lapses, including inflated fee and interest income and misclassified asset and liability entries, leading the board to suspect internal fraud. The bank has already corrected its financials and informed regulatory authorities. A forensic probe is underway, and accountability measures have been initiated.Despite the controversy, Hinduja emphasised that the bank’s core business remains strong. “The coordinated efforts of management and the board have kept the bank healthy, with robust capital adequacy,” he said, adding that customer confidence continues to hold steady.Referring to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Hinduja appreciated the regulator’s “orderly and guided” approach in handling such issues in the past and expressed confidence in its continued oversight.Importantly, Hinduja reiterated that IIHL remains committed to financially supporting IndusInd Bank, just as it has over the last three decades. “Even though capital adequacy is strong, if further equity is needed for business growth, we are fully committed,” he stated.His comments aim to calm investor nerves following a week of reputational damage.
